This past January I had the privilege of taking maternity photos for my Cousin, Josh and his wife Jessica. On February 14th they were blessed with the arrival of their first child, Lucy Ann. Three weeks later we were all shocked when Jessica was diagnosed with severe colon and liver cancer. She is currently receiving treatment in Seattle, Washington.
Over the past 4 years Jessica has served students as a Prevention/Intervention Specialist in the Finley & Kiona Benton School District. Kiona Benton Middle School will be hosting a Spaghetti Feed and Silent Auction on April 1st 2008 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All proceeds go to help the Weston family with medical and travel expenses.
Various items will be auctioned off including a helmet autographed by Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams, a football autographed by quarterback Marc Bulger, various sports memorabilia from Jeremy Bonderman of the Detroit Tigers, and a gift certificate package from Heather Lee Photography.
Please come and join the community in support of Jessica, Josh and baby Lucy Ann.

And to wrap up this past holiday season, here are a few more pics!

This session took place back in September. I had a specific task for this session to re-create a framed piece of artwork that my customer had in her home. It was quite a chore, and took time for all the pieces to come together, but in the end I nailed it and was very happy with the outcome.
Holiday Season is all about family portraits! Here are a few of the wonderful families I had the privilege of working with this past season.

Wow, I can't believe how fast 2007 flew by!! I had a great (busy!!) holiday season and am now ready to start the new year!! I've got some exciting new products that I will be introducing in the next month, so stay tuned for more updates!!
I haven't updated the blog since October, so in the next few days I will be posting some of the sessions that kept me busy this past holiday season! Enjoy :)

The busy holiday season has begun!! Yet again I am behind on the sneak peaks...these are more of a flash back at the last couple of weeks!! Enjoy :)

This is my official announcement and introduction of my new assistant...my wonderful husband, James!
James has always been my #1 supporter - making it possible for me to do what I do. We have always had a goal that "someday" we would work side by side running Heather Lee Photography together. Well, someday has come!! We recently made a leap of faith with James leaving his job at KGH to work with me full-time.
James will mostly be working behind the scenes in the office but will also be assisting me during senior and family photo shoots.
We are very excited about what lies ahead!

This past week I had a blast doing some senior sessions with 3 of my 2007-2008 reps.
First meet Nathan and Jon. They both are seniors at Ki-Be High (Benton City).

Next meet Chip. Chips is a senior at Pasco High.

I am still looking for a few more reps! If you are a senior or know someone who would be interested please check out www.hlphotographyseniors.com and click on news/proofs for more information.
